EDC Las Vegas went down on day one. Our network didn’t.

Electric Daisy Carnival draws over 100,000 people a day. This year the incumbent internet provider was overrun by the surge and went dark on day one — leaving vendors unable to take payments. Elite’s deployment stayed up: three high-availability routers, 24 SIM cards across multiple carriers, two dedicated fiber strands, and Starlink overhead, serving up to 30,000 users a day while other networks buckled.

In August we took the Mobile kit to a rooftop on the Snæfellsnes peninsula and carried the Iceland Space Agency’s live eclipse broadcast off it — two Starlink Minis into a Peplink on a battery, no fibre and no mains power anywhere near it.
